Back to Bishops Stortford! (who in england in real life as anything close to flair 10 is hilarious).

Aim this season is to get further in the champions league and win the league again, had to tell Suprs to get lost as the wanted me for the second time... Need to make Bishops Stortford a force before I leave for MLS/Saints/somewhere interesting (I want to get back to the Belgium 3rd division one day as that is the most hilarious in game league!)

For further comedy its 2021, Mancini has finally left city (3 titles and a few fa cup wins set out what they will be in real life...) and I have been offered the city job this season! Still don't want to leave but a comedy alt universe save is worth while because they have a better squad (and budget) than Spurs :)

Flair 20?? Sweet jesus. Good find indeed. I had a cracking striker in Huddersfield but I can't tempt him to move to my new club ;) I'm doing very well as Arsenal actually, comfortably in front, and winning domestic competitions. It's MUCH better being with a big club. Better everything really. More consitent too.
 
15 games in first season in the prem and we're doing surprisingly well. Sitting 5th with a record of W9 D2 L4. All the losses were to the big teams. Man U, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal all royally spanked us. But with the rest we've been very comfortable.
 
Hmm, just been offered the Man City job. The first time I've had an offer from one of the big clubs. Had to turn it down though as my job here it Harrogate isn't quite done.
 
What's a good team to manage in one of the higher leagues? (That's not too difficult)

Bored of having so little money in the Bet square leagues...

New game? Wolves (though that's cheating really)or maybe Coventry in L1 (theres potential for a decent team despite the money problems)

Later in game, where are Southampton? Always fun to be saints!

try going on holiday for a couple of days, i had this issue and it worked.
 
My team won't win, even though we are the best team in the league. We can't beat a crap Huracan side, who are 3rd from bottom.

Decided to take matters into my own hands and sell everyone off.

Literally, everyone.

I'll leave in January, as soon as they all go. Its October.

EDIT: Total transfers total: 103M. They will still have some 5 first team players left, as some don't want to leave as they joined in summer, and some I can't find a team for.

They can **** it tbh.

EDIT 2: 3-0 at half time against a side who are above me in the league. Maybe I can snatch the openeing stage, now that they are leaving, LOL!

I'm having quite a bit of fun with Monaco. You start in Ligue 2 so you have to be promoted, but as they're a rich team you have quite a bit to build a squad.
 
Has anyone else experienced this bug during a match: you pause the game to make tactical changes/subs, and when you've done that, you return to the pitch view only to be greeted to the sight of the opposition team celebrating the goal they've somehow scored while the game's been paused?

It's proving to be most ragequit-worthy :mad: :(

I had a few from Barcelona on loan last season (Roberto/Rafinha) but couldn't get them in on loan again so went for Powell and Hazard. David Luiz was on loan last season and was awesome so I got him in on highest wages (£70k/week) and Vidic next to him.

I had a situation like that in League 2.
My team had dominated, and we were completely flying, like 20 points lead.
Then they just stopped scoring all together, managed to scrap win the league on goal difference at the end, and that was only because I didn't concede as much.
 
really dont like the tactics this year feel like after iv used a certain tactic for say 12 games its no longer effective. Ive got chesterfield from league 2 to championship but i cant really progress no further no money, no wage budget and just inconsistent results any tactic tips? how do your tactics differ from home and away because im definitely struggling away.

That's whats happened to my Bishops Stortford team! :mad:

Neither of my main strikers can be bothered to score and I have to play some 18 year olds just because the 2 main guys can't be bothered to score. So frustrating!
 
Cheers for the team suggestions, if this career with Notts Forest doesn't help then I'll go for one of them after... I just hope I can keep a good team playing well for more than 5 games this time.
 
If you're at the start with Forest you should be able to get a quality game going really, decent champ squad there and in real life miss managed (someone paid MONEY for Dan Harding at LB!!!)
 
It's a really, really strange game don't you think. I just don't understand the tactics even after hundreds of hours. If you are set to lose, I don't think there is anything you can do to change that. I was playing as Arsenal and winning almost everything apart from a couple of premiership games. Then I go and play Valencia in the CL and I lose 8-0. I mean, not just a goal, 8 goals. I have never seen a loss like it. Then after that I win the FA cup and the Premiership lol..

That's fab, HG too. How do you find these players? I've been experimenting. Trying all sorts of searches. Trawling through the top clubs' juniors etc. Haven't been able to find anything really much better than my youth squad.
