Can anybody tell me the difference between the:
GA-965G-DS3
and the
GA-965P-DS3
thanks
The main difference is the G model has onboard graphics, the P would require a separate PCI-E graphics card

Nope it will be fine - it just 'tells' the motherboard how to use the hard disk. What I want to ask is about what Loadsamoney said about Windows seeing them as "emulated PATA": the drives in question already have data on them - this "emulation" business won't corrupt the data in any way will it?
Not that I've seen.Oh yeah, are there any custom overclocking BIOSes or tweaked drivers I should be aware of, like there were for older motherboards?
You are limited to that size with XP as it is only 32bit. You'll need XP Pro x64 edition or a 64bit version of Vista to get the whole 4GB.Thanks for the quick replies.
Been running F12 since released
Had to up the MCH to +3V (Maximum it would let me)
And the DDR Voltage +6V to get memtest to run ok.
However it still crashes in windows XP/orthos
I also noticed it's only showing 3.25GB RAM in XP ????!!!!!
