Ah ok I'm on AMD so makes sense
Any one else noticing that FPS can drop 30-40's when in dense woodland areas with a lot of trees etc
Dont use ultra for grass i think also shadows might play a part there with all the trees casting shadows all over.

Helicopter controls seem very weird, it just seems to randomly wobble about in the sky when i stole one from the airport.![]()
Get your flying skill up.
yes this would be a great idea,I've not played any of the gta's before,am totally lost but having fun.can someone start a thread noobie online tips.I feel like creating a new thread entitled 'Noobies guide to GTAV online' as like others I don't really know where to start. Even my 13 year old Son won't even help his old man!.
On a side note it would appear GTAV has claimed its first victim....well at least here. After watching some random Youtube stream earlier, I took the Blimp up at night to view the city in its full splender. I had my light on that sits above my monitors and decided to switch it off so I could watch it in total darkness. I then decided great, I'll switch the light on and then I stupidly knocked over a full glass of wine all over my Corsair K70 for the second time!.
Anywho, I am hoping my new 970 coming tomorrow will keep my mind off this squidgy, horrible to type on Logitech G15 keyboard that has unfortunately has had to make yet another appearance.
TL;DR Don't drink and drive????
I'm hoping someone can help me?
I have a good system for this and many other games.
but it's quite unplayable atm for GTA V online.
my system is:
i7-3930K @ 3.20GHz
64GB Ram
X2 Crossfire AMD R920x 4GB's
SSD drives and plenty more others hard drives.
updated drivers to latest.
system runs game on Max default settings and looks great, but I keep getting dropped frames and it's almost like it's trying to load lots, you notice it way more when your driving and it cannot cope with going fast.
I have no idea what's causing it, I've tried lowering the settings and I still get this frame rate drop, it's not smooth and I can't play like this at all...
any advice or help with settings would be greatfully recieved.
