This is a great game (like you didn't already know), I played a few hours last night and I'm blown away. I still need to get the graphics settings dialed in I'm getting some tearing and pop in issues.

Any suggestions on what would give the best performance on a GTX760? I'd rather smooth performance over super high details, as I find stuttering and tearing way more distracting than a few rough edges. Aiming for 1920x1080 but could go a bit lower if it makes a big impact.
 
Does anyone else get a kind of de-interlace pattern on distant items, particularly visible on lamp posts etc.?

I'm not home at the moment to post a screeny or settings but will try later. I had everything at max except MSAA and reflection MSAA off iirc. MSAA seems to improve it but with the obvious performance hit

I am playing on a 42" screen so that will amplify the effect I imagine but everything else looks fine. Card is 290

Here's a few tips, Go into your settings, use the down arrow to scroll through all the options

Turn off all the camera options OFF, more especially the one that levels the camera when driving. Otherwise the camera will keep centering and leveling when driving.

Adjust FOV to max, however this is only for first person view :(

Turn off Post FX, this turns off Motion Blur and DOF

Turn off Headbob, however this doesn't turn it off completely as you will still camera head bob when running. I've asked Rockstar support about this

It wont cure it, I still get it, but it wont be as bad

Running the game on minimum settings here at 1680x1050 with 2XAA but it doesn't look that bad really and getting around 50FPS. Must look amazing maxed out. Brilliant game so far. Glad I got it on Steam, the process has been pretty painless except having to free up a lot of space during installation, well worth the money.

I am getting a steady 30 FPS which sucks to be honest. Vsync off. All antilising / msa/fxsa etc turned off.
CPU usage is 98%
GPU usage is 25% max :eek:

I am being bottlenecked I suppose.
i5 650 CPU just btw.
GTX 970 EVGA SC

Bring up the phone, open the web browser and just choose the real estate website, that's the quickest way rather than trawling the streets!

I'm lvl 10, when I tried to do it yesterday via the phone it said something about "not being contacted by someone yet"?

Yeah dual cores will most likely struggle with this :( get yourself a quad core, hopefully your mobo's socket supports a quad core chip so you don't have to buy a new mobo as well!
 
i'm stuck on a mission where I have to send Beverly a picture of poppy no matter even after taking after she is handcuffed I can't seem to work out how to send the picture is there something that should come up or am I being dumb here :P

Update - no problem worked it out had to use a controler and press x to send not sure what the key is on a keyboard as I can't see it listed
