***Official GTX 670 thread***

My card hasn't arrived at the delivery depot yet, which leaves me hopeful of delivery after 5.30.

Not going to be a happy camper if I miss delivery as the earliest I'll get it is sat, latest Monday :(

My KFA2 arrived, taking pictures and uploading them now, installing later though.

Only this pic for now sorry, I just have to get a nasty throat infection on the day of getting this which doesnt combine well with being unable to fall asleep all night :(

Mmmmm Haribo. Should have mine by 11:30. Om yom yom yom. :)

A number of things, to name a couple off the top of my head;

Temperature

Power

FPS

Graphics Utilization

:)

Its also worth noting that the advertised boost clock is just a guaranteed minimum, I read last night of some windforce cards doing 1100+ straight out of the box.

I've been doing some research on how much performance I'll loose going from 570 sli to single 670 and this is what I've come up with since most reviews don't give a good comparison :(

580 is approx 20 percent faster than single 570
670 is approx 50 percent faster than single 570
670 is approx 30 percent faster than single 580
570 sli is approx 25 percent faster than single 670
570 sli is approx 20 percent faster than single 680
670 sli is approx 50 percent faster than 570 sli

670 sli - 135 fps
570 sli - 90 fps
680 - 80 fps
670 - 75 fps
580 - 60 fps
570 - 50 fps

does this sound about right?

You want Afterburner, Gpu-z will only show you what you've set, the hidden boost however can be seen in AB.

Don't go mad with the initial boost, it's the hidden boost you want to be interested in.

Hey, could you do a stock run with 1680x1050 4AA 4AF tess normal in fullscreen mode so I can get a good idea of performance compared to my 570 sli.

to a very small degree yes - these cards come stock with something like 980mv as a baseline and you can set it up to 1080, but this is still nowhere near the max the card can do and most of the reviews have said that increasing the baseline mv actually caused more stability problems than it fixed

as you can see in that screen shot it still maxes out at 1.175 regardless of what you set the baseline to
