Got the waterblock fitted tonight (to a friends card, not to the card I bought from OcUK, I would never violate a manufacturers warranty terms) and all running good :)

The Aquacomputer block is the only alternative to the EK lightning block (as far as I know) and I chose it because it was better for my needs (allows connecting from above and below without using 90's unlike EK's CSQ blocks. Having only had EK blocks before I would say that this block is very good, however the instructions are generic and in "Engrish" so I would advise having a phone/tablet on hand to watch the fitting video on youtube as you go :) and also the is no tools or TIM included so you will need both, personally I think they should have made the G1/4 blanks either thumb screw or screwdriver friendly, I ende dup having to use an allen key that came with the FC680 to install the blanks!

Just an FYI, MSI has put a "remove this sticker and warranty void" sticker on one of the four screws holding the GPU heatsink on, presumably with the idea you will have to remove it to undo the screw, however if you remove the backplate first you can get some pliers around the screw and undo it without breaking the seal.

As far as temps go I was surprised, it runs cooler than my GTX670 FTW with EK FC680 block did. Temps maxed out low 40's when I was testing everything with the fans on max (three 800RPM Kaze fans and a single SP120 quiet) however they will be turned down to inaudible for normal use however I still expect great temps (the fans are all controlled by the board and will ramp up depending on CPU temp).

Under water the card boosted itself to 1080MHz during Valley, haven't tried the BIOS switch in LN2 position yet as I don't know if that BIOS is different on the PE but I plan to put a lightning BIOS on the card so will see what that does.

Jerry is that using AB?

I'm not use to these gpus, u think you raise core and the card still boosts above that?

What do I set power limit to?

Well mine will only go 23mhz above stock it seems:(

mem is ok at 7GHZ

Yes using AB check first post all the info is there that you need will mean a bit reading :p

Activated LN2 BIOS that allowed 1222mV core to be drawn (measure with multimeter not AB) letting me keep stable +26mhz = Max boost of 1150mhz and 1163 mhz which I am happier with but still gutted to not get 1200mhz.

+39mhz causes Heaven to quit

Is that it from these cards?!

Is it because I haven't tried the 770 Flash?

You need to unlock voltage download this version of AB
http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/..._download.html Download this version 3.0.0 Beta 14 (SE for 680/770 Lightning editions)
then read first post in this link
http://www.overclock.net/t/1280007/official-msi-gtx-680-lightning-owners-club
the bit about unlocking voltage
[Settings]
VDDC_Generic_Detection = 0
VDDC_CHL8318_Detection = 46h
VDDC_CHL8318_Type = 1

once that's done you will have more volts and if you need more then use this

I'll try again and see what the message is.

Oh and is LN2 BIOS with switch to the right?

Because Gpu-z is showing the exact same Bios in either switch position?

Ok my bad I wasn't installing vers 14 of the 3.0 beta like you said I tried another version which didn't work, this one does now:)

Have fun you should get 1200+ now

:D First BIOS flash, man it got my heart going!

Seems to have been successful

and...

JERRY YOU BEAUTIFUL MAN

Multimeter read 1254mv in Heaven and boosted of its own accord to 1202mhz on the core!

So happy!

What's considered 'upper safe on these volts-wise on these'?

I'm gonna see what it can do on its own with 1254mv

Rep to you sir

Ah fail Heaven crashed after 10s of benching:(

What do I do now up the volts or the power limit?
