They are actually smaller, but excluding the feet.

What are they missing to make them £169? No ANC?

How does the weight compare to previous gens? That’s a lot more important than how much booty it has if you’re gonna be lugging it about.

No stupid silicone tip things that I could never get a seal with. I returned my AirPods Pro after a week and stuck with my originals. The design is much better for me.

100% this, hate those tips on the Pro's, that's why the AirPods are my go to, with the AirPods Max as my ANC pair.

Ah ok so they’re just like the Gen 1 AirPods in the new AirPods Pro form factor? Seem decent enough then.

Looks like it. Doesn't even show in my watch history either.

Move along, these aren't the droids etc.

Might have to have some of the new AirPods for work phone, as using wire just does my head in.

I really want a 14" with the Max CPU but am really struggling to justify the cost.

I love the silicone tips. Gives me a nice, snug, comfy fit.

Bah, too rich for me. I'll stick with my M1 13" for now.

I mean if you have a pro workflow that will use it, surely it will make sense?

Can anyone confirm that the main difference between the top "pro" vs the "max" is entirely GPU cores increase and the ability to go to 64GB ram and 4TB HD?

I do a lot of CAD and a fair amount of video editing. However, I do most of that on my main Windows rig.
Nah, I don't need it. The pricing is just a bit higher than my "buy it now!" impulse. Maybe next refresh.

The base spec is totally useable for like 90% of people buying these, will still be stupid fast

Just stuck an order in for the 14 Pro with the full cores and 1TB as a desktop replacement… let’s see how I get on with it!

You have a M1 macbook pro, and was thinking of upgrading already potentially?

I think the memory is faster too even if you do 32GB vs 32GB
