***Official OcUK 52 project thread (kinda) *** - Week 8 Onwards?

Damn it, it wasn't the camera that was delivered, it was my Ultimate Bourne collection bluray. Also, to add insult to injury, the high street retailers site that stated dispatched, now says "back order". Interesting that they had it to ship to me, it was shipped and then it wasn't. Hmm....

Playing catch up here, I still took all of these in the appropriate weeks. Just been too lazy to post them, I have been trying some different processing techniques which are working better for me, my pictures were too bland and postcard like. Now I am trying to give them more punch.

I'm still going if no-one else is; various things have way-laid me putting them up but I'm updating

Week 20 - Power
52-20.jpg

A test for me to try a photo using anything but my usual kit

Week 21 - Flying
52-21.jpg

My first venture out with my 70-200L and I had a go at capturing this flying things under some trees. Thought it came out pretty well for a first go.

Week 22 - Tram Rides
52-22.jpg

Went to Crich Tram Museum and took this, again with the 70-200 (loving it BTW, IQ is amazing) and it looks like a postcard shot - might see if I can sell it back to them.

Week 23 - Who You Looking At!
52-23.jpg

At Twycross Zoo during the elephant feeding time, you can't see it on this one so much but the sharpness, especially at 100% is insane!

Is anyone actually still doing this? Even over on TP there are only a few people left!

My 60D FINALLY arrived yesterday. Some very strange changes compared to my 30D, but it's quite nice. Might take it to a party on Saturday :)

I like your elephant shot :)

Like I said I'm still in, I'm drifting a bit with the one on TP but I've got a spread sheet tracking it and noting ideas - just need time. Trouble is I could take any old shot but I want to make it half decent - some of the TP ones are just

I've still been taking photos each week but not all of them dedicated for this challenge. Main problem has been finding the time to keep up with the processing and uploads.

Still doing it though and still using the camera which its all about. Anyway time for a bulk update:-

Yeah, mine have been nothing short of awful on the TP thing. I just don't have time lately, but rather than leave it I'm just taking something and sticking it on with the idea that I'll do it properly at some point. Annoyingly with me back in the gym now my knee is fixed I'm shattered all the time and work is hectic. When I come home I have about 3 hours to myself and just cabbage in front of my PC.

Still, I'm hoping to do better in the second half of the year. My only problem with the TP one is that someone picking the subject for you, really leaves me cold a lot of the time which is leading to some rather poor choices of photos, which doesn't help when time is at a premium too.

Ah well, onwards and upwards.
