as far as i could tell it added no extra load.

my only issue with this is the nicking of other people builds and work.
as this can then lead to people claiming they done someone else build.

You can't import it onto the server though (unless you have server access). Of course you could put it onto another server that you do own and claim it was your work, but I can't see the point/why you'd do that. You could make far better builds with worldedit and spawning items.

Also, although it was an amusing post I think it'd be best if we don't get any more 'fake griefing' shots here. If you catch an admin on a bad night you may end up losing server access if we don't realise that it's a joke

There's no way to police it - the data goes to the user when they're on the server normally. What they do with it then is up to them.

It adds no extra load you see minecraft client already downloads the chunks and data all the mod does is save this data for you to use in single player mode.

The mod will not cause any additional load on the server because it never actively requests anything. It lets Minecraft do all the loading and buffering and then right before MC overwrites a buffered chunk that is no longer needed, it saves this chunk to disk. This will only slow down the client a bit when your HDD is too slow. It also saves the complete chunk buffer when stopping downloading or disconnecting.
