I'm waiting for this game to be delivered. Can I download the patch now while I'm waiting, or does it need to be done through the game interface?
 
Just had a VERY rare winning spree in WFs. Goddamn there's a lot of xp to be had by winning. If I had just rolled Guardian I would have 2 level 50s by now instead of 1 30.

WTB faction change - don't care how much it costs!

Nice to give an entire month free, I've seen most recent MMOs give some amount of free time as compensation, but its usually 7 days or similar, its not usually a whole month. Nice.

they did a similar thing with mine, was having trouble updating and the customer service was excellent!

Finally got round to playing this game last night, only had enough time to play untill level 5 but really enjoying it, love the fact that you can build 3 classes on one character, very customisable! :)

Also enjoying how fast paced the combat is! Spot on so far :)
made a Blade Dancer (Guardian) on Whitefall i think the server was called!... i forget!

Alright I'm going to give this a try during the weekend. Any suggestion for class combinations? I quite fancy a rogue type as I've never played one.

I went mostly bard, with the remainder of points in riftstalker, and ranger as my zero point class.

Bard gives great support and healing, riftstalker some nice teleports and shields, and with ranger I get the first pet, which stays very useful for a lot of your levelling career :)
 
Just got a code from a friend for the 3 day trial thingy from today. Getting really bad FPS, on "Low" @ 1360x768 I'm getting 30 - 60 FPS, depending on whats on screen, average about 40 ish since I only get 60 when there's like 1 character on the screen and I'm staring at a wall. Computer is: E8400, 4GB DDR2, HD4850 512mb... this normal? or is something a bit off here?

Sounds like there is something a bit off to me, I generally get around 40-45 with everything near max or max. Admittedly my card is a higher spec than yours, but with everything on low I would have thought you should get more than 30fps

I downloaded and used that Fallout 3 DLL for ATI cards, insta 15 - 20 FPS boost. Then I just turned Shadows off, getting 50 - 60 FPS constantly now at "High" settings :)
 
Logged in for the first time last night and i appear to be Coinlocked.. can't seem to get hold of a code to make myself.. unlocked?

keep resending codes but nothing is coming through. nothing in junk/spam/filters etc... anybody have similar probs?

Afraid not, the only time I was coinlocked was immediately after the coinlock patch was put in when everyone got it, then I had an email with a code, whacked that in and everything has been fine ever since.
