Well theres not too much more they can do , I mean there are Warfronts, open world PvP, dungeons, quests, crafting, raids. I mean they already have more different options than many MMOs at this point in their lives, in terms of mix they have more of a mix available than a lot of MMOs had at release (and more than some have even now long after release). As I say, the trouble I think comes not from the game (or any mmo), its more that we as players have been doing "warfronts", open world PvP, dungeons, quests, crafting and raids for a decade+ and the players have seen it before. Burn out more on the genre than the game.

Must admit that the OCUK guild is always active, whenever I log in there are always a least a dozen (usually much more) people online in the guild.
Unfortunately I have no interest in PvP whatsoever, so would rather eat my own shoes than join a PvP server.
That's fine, so do instances and guild rift raids etc. There is not much open world rvr ganking.
Give it a go and see how you get on..if you dont like it..well..then atleast you have tried.

anyone know why a bunch of people left the ocuk guild last night?
Yes, Crozzers, Hylo and Vibez, along with other high profile members all left around 11/12 hours ago.
Also, the multiplay (latest mumble) server password has been changed.
How strange, theres nothing on the guild forum from them to say why they have left the guild
Oh, was just told in guildchat that they left to create a new hardcore raiding guild. Not sure why they couldnt do that from within the existing guild rather than making a new one, but these things happen. Hopefully its just a very small minority of the guild and its not the deathknell for the existing guild. I suppose it might just be that they have gone to make a Covenant 2 guild which will be the raid one rather than having left the guild altogether.

Oh, if they have taken their alts too then I guess its not a Covenant 2 raid guild. On the plus side we still have 71 members who have logged in within the last 48 hours, so still a healthy population
EDIT : 71 characters, I guess at absolute minimum thats 35 members who have logged in within the last 48 hours (plus all the ones who have logged in within the last week)

Same here, I'm in no massive rush - too much work/kids to think about, nice to play fairly casually a few hours most nights.
Must admit that I've found it a terrific game for casual play, I can get on and get quite a bit achieved in 1 hour before logging again. As much as my heart pines for another UO or Daoc, I just know that if one was made I simply wouldnt have the time to devote to it to thoroughly enjoy it.
Wish them all the best but it's not going to end well. They leave an active guild with lots of friendly people to make a "hardcore" guild, which means a new strict lifestyle with life leeching routines. All for an MMO...
They should just join the Marines to be honest.
