*****Official Star Wars: The Old Republic Thread*****

Im actually still enjoying this game quite a bit.

Our guild has completed hard modes this week (after a week or 2 on SOA... damn boss) We actually made a game out of running back to SOA from a wipe, the sorcs's would speed boost and pull each other back and the tanks would try jump infront off people :)

Our server isnt completly dead but we struggle at times to recruit people :( Luckly we have a couple of slow levelers which will boost our team number

I am finding it ok, but that is mainly because I am only a casual player and I am only level 32 since release (with a few alts around 12)

For me its a nice game to play casual, with the end game content being abit messy, so ive heard. So no rush for me to hit level 50.

I am waiting for 1.2 and I probs will still be playing. I am just so sick of WoW atm I got the scroll of Res and still only played like an hour of it. TOR is a nice change of setting and I am sure they will get it up and running again. People just need to be patient.

I'm almost exactly the same here. Level 40 shadow, in no rush to level, and having a great time. Definitely could do with the server merges though - think that's my only gripe

I have been lv50 for about a week. Still really enjoying it, especially the pvp. I have a Consular shadow tank, find it a great class to use and currently grinding for battle master gear. Did my first op last night with my guild, it was a learning curve but had a great time. Glad I made myself play an mmo, a genre I considered crap in the past.

I have a 7-day pass, what is the most popular server? PvP europe. What are the PvP basic rules? Is it kill anywhere, any level?

Tomb of Freedon Nadd, followed by Niman, and i'm not sure on the PvP side of it, haven't got that far yet as i've only recently found a class i love playing, wab knows more on that subject.

The first time you will see the other side to kill in on Nar Shadaa, and then it will only be in the bonus area, the first planet you meet them on, in normal open world is Tatoonie, but even there the 2 sides are set pretty far apart, and only in the dunes area do you see a lot of each other. (or I should rather say you did) from there you will meet them on all planets except Balmorro which is one side only (cheap coding to make the game quicker I guess is the reason)

But as the servers are now you not gonna see a lot of anyone anywhere even on the really busy servers (really busy been around 200 on carrick.. which is still a bit of a joke)

The Immortals Nimam Server www.mmo-guild.co.uk for the new guys this is a bit of open world PvP on Ilum, which with the last patch has been pretty much killed off :( http://youtu.be/-6wQuwY1J-k

I have a 29 Sentinel and a 22 Merc, I log in for about 8 hours a week tops, and I'm still loving the game. Helps that I have 3 RL friends who are playing to hit the grp quests and Flashpints with though.

Still think its a great single player game with co-op mind you (its not a MMO in my mind)

Just rolled a new trooper on ToFN from bacca's blade last night and what a change! Literally 10 times more people in each zone! Whilst i'm going to miss my higher level chars I really enjoy the levelling storylines so a fresh start is welcome. I'll be on tonight if anyone from the OC guild will be? I'd be interested in joining.

I'm out until servers are merged. Only 36 but my experience is seriously hindered due to low population.

This TBH.

I logged in again last night with my 32 sage, went to fleet and there was just over 30 people there. Tried to find a group to do some flashpoints, 30 mins later still nothing. Logged out and then logged my 22 BH Merc (different server) went to fleet only 50 odd people.

The server populations are a joke. When I was playing WoW Ironforge was always full to the brim even 3 to 4 years after launch. I logged into RIFT as lastnight was the last day of my 3 day re activation and Meridian was full of life, easily a few 100 people runnign around interacting and doing stuff. Even stormreach habour in DDO had more frigging people in it that fleet. !!!!

SWTOR currently just feels like playing KOTOR.

TDR (The Dark Religion) Empire is recruiting on Frostclaw PVE server.

If you are interested please do a search in game for TDR and ask one of our officers for a invite.
