Why do people sell premium tanks I dont get it. Play it for one day only and you have made more cash than by selling it. T34 was easy to play even when it was a T9 tank and then taken down to T8. Just need to know how to play it and not be silly with it.
 
My T34 is still sitting in my garage and still gets played. I find if you play it like a heavy (or order them to in Companies) then you lose. Play it more like a turreted TD like the T30 and they play well. You need to go hull down as often as possible and keep that fragile hull safe, but that turret is pretty difficult to penetrate.
 
I tend to always go with the weak flank no matter what tank I'm in. So I'll back up the two tanks on one flank rather than follow the horde. It doesn't end well when you're in a slow tank like the T34! :D

Agree fully with this, an average player like me can make about 50k a game easily on the T34 and i think my record was 120k in one game, so why sell it :confused:
And link has the play style spot on, only took me 100+ games to realise it lol

Oh and varkanoid, great deal mate

I've sold one, it was the German T-25, it just wasn't that much fun to drive and didn't really earn that well either being T5. At the time I preferred just playing more games in the PZ 3/4 instead. Kept my others though :)

I can't force myself to play a tank I don't enjoy I'm sure some people can though
 
Test server is back up with 8.7

E-25 is fast! Chugging around in that little thing and taking fight with every little bump lol. Shame it only has a pea-shooter at T7 :(

Fair enough,
I went down the USA heavy tree, so i had the T29 before i bought the T34 so i had an idea what to expect, and the T34 is my only prem tank.

Do all the players who bought the Tog that time still play it?
Now that is one prem tank i would sell ;):p
 
Depends hugely on the tank you are facing.

Through experience, looking up tank armour layouts in wiki or outright being lame with a mod that overlays armour figures on the screen you have to change what you aim at.

For example an american medium can be shot in the turret but for a russian medium this is much more likely to be a waste since they have low profile highly sloped heavy armour there.

I will shoot myself in the foot before I install and use XVM or any similar extra data displaying mod.

Rumour has it I'm a purple name on there and continue to be listed as purple even when I'm playing badly or playing in a new tank or playing on tanks which I don't ever do well in.

Any one game means nothing, I play for long term reliability which means being a noob occasionally, losing loads of games, winning slightly more than I lose and somehow that's believed to mean amazing odds-beating play every time.
 
Thanks for the advice, I don't use any mods just bone stock.

I quite enjoy playing with my M5 Stuart because it means I'm typically up against heavies so have to use a bit of pace to out gun them.
