** Official World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Thread**

What challenge you doing for the cloak? if your melee DPS with a tank offspec then do the tank one its ridiculously easy (you can take a Shadowpan dailies minion with you).

i am doing healing one as resto shaman. have also tried ranged dps with my off spec.

ilvl around 515.... maybe its not high enough or maybe i am just crap??

I'm still logging in occasionally, mainly levelling alts, my warrior tank main never sees any action, and I can't find any social guilds that aren't full of complete *****, my main gripe is the lack of fun.

i did the healing one on mah druid garu, took a few attempts but was ok in the end.

Bit cheeky but at the part where the missiles shoot at wrathion i found that a few mushrooms stopped any of the missiles hitting him :p pretty sure you could do the same with a few well placed totems

Worst trouble i had was having aggro on the mob all the time, the little adds i could one shot with a moonfire in resto so they were not an issue.

finally got it done after upgrading some gear and taking a few pots, actually wasn't that difficult in the end....

phew!! proud owner of 600 cloak now!!

I'm not surprised about the latest drop, there just isn't anything to keep you hooked in, you can see all current raid content within a few weeks at level cap just playing casually thanks to lfr.

Apart from dailies, PvP, scenarios, seasonal content.... I've yet to meet anyone who can honestly say they've done *everything* at endgame. There is always something to do.

LFR is a loot pinata for people who unable or unwilling to join a raiding guild. The real test is when you step up to "real" raiding. Bear in mind that flexi-raiding is coming in the next patch, which offers the casual player a higher degree of challenge (should they wish to seek it out).

Personally, I thought some of the bosses in this expansion are pretty awesome, even if you miss some of the mechanics in LFR.

servers are ghost towns with no sight of server mergers so people leave due to that.

So you haven't heard about virtual realms coming in the next patch - basically, it's server merges in all but name.

I can't see WoW ever increasing in sub numbers again, f2p end of the year?

Don't be silly. Firstly, 7.7 million subscribers for an 8 year old game is nothing short of miraculous. WoW always suffers from a drop in subs over the summer anyway - while I don't think they'll get back to 13 million subs (and I don't see any game ever doing that again), it'll go back up when the next xpac comes out. I can't see WoW going F2P for at least another couple of expansions.

Man I still need the sigils... Life is too busy atm...

Still got to 9/12 in ToT last week =]

My guild has like 6/12 but we get stuck at tortos for no reason T.T we can wreck the bats/turtles sooo quick but always seem to fail... Ive only been in for a couple of tortos pulls and horridon etc keep missing raid nights due to work.

Guys, I haven't played WOW in ages but just re-subbed for a month, I'm a casual player and don't really delve into the tanking/healing side to things so I always concentrate on the best DPS. I know it's a question that's entirely subjective and how you play the game but is there a character at the mo that stands out DPS wise?

Except the summer numbers aren't out yet, the latest numbers were April - June. Given current trends Wow will be 6 millionish next earnings call (summer months figures released). People thought MoP would spark life into WoW, it didn't.

Dailies - dull
PvP - broken
Scenarios - fun the 1st time through
Seasonal content - same **** that's been there for years, boring 4th or 5th time doing it
Raiding - already said my 2cp's worth

Warlocks and Hunters, although towards the end game you'll struggle to raid as a Hunter as they are everywhere.

Otherwise Tanks have very high DPS at the moment. But that's changing next patch... Vengeance nerf.

Hunters are extremely weak in endgame content, we only really get to raid heroics because we are useful for Lei Shen / Ra-den.

Warlocks are a league above everything else at the minute, but there is talk of them being reigned inover the next couple of patches.

Mages are up there, as always - they will always have at least one viable spec.

Boomkins scale incredibly well with gear - I imagine they could become amazingly awesome with 5.4 ilevels.

I have about 6 level 90's and my warlock is probably the best for PVE DPS albeit higher ilevel than my other characters. Destruction spec is quite easy to play too! :)

I took a break for a few weeks, but just came back to mess around on my Rogue in PVP, but can't help thinking this game is fizzling out for me now. I doubt I will re-sub again next month, and I guess I need to find something else to play! Anyone who is new to the game though will probably enjoy it quite a lot, but after about 5 years I can say I'm pretty bored!

Bloodlust, Combat Res, Misdirect etc. The utility is fab, and the add dps and control is great also. Still only ever need one tho :P

Locks are crazy stronk and boomkins these days seem as rare as can be!

Could I be cheeky and nab a scroll from someone? Haven't played since early Cata and fancy a bash at getting back into it. :)

I disagree... hunters are so useful in endgame raiding... Tortos, Horridon... so on so forth.. My hunter does a pretty decent amount of DPS in 515 ilvl gear whilst also being sooo useful to the raid w/ traps and MD etc etc.
