TLPD: I camped it for many months. Seriously. With WoW windowed and mods to ping me if it appeared while I was alt-tabbed and doing work. Never even saw a corpse.

Jesus! Hadn't even thought about that, where have those 5 years gone?!

So far I've seen it dead once and that Vyragosa dead twice, apparently they share spawn timers or something? Keep running into the same people who are also camping it. I wish I hadn't started now!

At least it's name is justified... There is going to be a lot of Time-Lost while farming! :(

tbh with the so many bots out there i doubt you will be able to get it unless your server is really dead, on mine there are bots running around 24/7 making it impossible for a human to catch up
if you google honorbuddy tlpd you will see what i am talking about

My timing is always bad, when I start again it's always a few months before the next expansion so I play for a bit and everything dies off and it's hard to get into any of the RAIDS

now that the patch has been announced as 10th September (11th in EU) whats people doing till then?

Ive been levelling my first ever warlock which just dinged 90 last night, cant believe i skipped this class so long, been loving it.

Playing as affliction mostly, i tend to play the spec i enjoy most rather than what pushes out the biggest numbers. Ill not be going beyond LFR on this toon :)

Its my 8th 90 which i found abit suprising as this expansion has been hard on altoholics, at least in terms of getting them geared anyway.

Ive also got any of my toons that can planting ore seeds on their farms, wanna have a nice stockpile of mats before the patch for the new engi mount and any recipies for BS.
 
I am finishing levelling my monk to 90 before the patch is released. Atm he is 80 so I think this is do-able if I put in the time! He is my lowest alt on the server I am on.

I still have 73 Shaman and 85 Mage on the other server.

Is there any rumours floating about a new expansion or any ideas on what it could be even if it is incredulous
 
they are expecting some sort of announcement at this years Blizzcon in November so i doubt we will get much before then.

They have said there will also be another patch after 5.4 which will prob be a pre expansion event

I've been leveling some alts. Just got my priest and rogue from 85 to 90 this week making them my 8th and 9th 90s. Now building up a stash of materials, enchants and gems to make some money when the patch hits.

I think this is the one patch I have actually looked forward to since 3.3.0 back in Wrath. I can't wait to see how it ends and who the new Warchief is. I really hope nobody spoils it until I get a chance to see it for myself, but I expect it'll get posted somewhere.

An announcement is expected during Blizzcon with the expansion itself being released next spring/summer, though that is entirely speculation and is based upon the current release timeline and the timeline of past expansions and patches.
 
Basically just waiting for the new patch, taking it easy until then, as my guild has stepped back to 2 nights raiding ToT, until SoO comes out, then back to 3 nights raiding.

Should be fun.
 
i hope its not true as i dont want a repeat of Vashir which i really didnt like as a zone.

Abyssal Maw would be nice tho as i remember it being canned before cata release and i really did like the throne of the tides instance.

The only thing from that which ill take as accurate so far is that the expansion will be level 90-100 but thats only due to the heirlooms dropping from garrosh :D

Yeah there were new ones every expansion but the difference is that the ones dropping from Garrosh scale from 90-100. All other heirlooms except the original ones added in Wrath only ever scaled the amount of levels in that particular expansion, and even now heirloom bonuses are capped at 85.
 
I just can't see it being anything but demon based, what with all the hints from Wrathion/epic quest chain. Maybe something where Ashzara & the naga are working with/ being duped by the burning crusade into opening a portal to Argus
