I've just built myself a new rig (or in the process of) and have GTX 580's in sli. At the moment I've only got a 20" samsung 1600x900 nothing special monitor. This brings about my question, what would be a suitable upgrade?

I'm currently looking at 23-24" 1920x1080 monitors but I'm unsure as to whether or not I ought to take the plunge and go for a 120Hz (I won't be using 3D though) or just get a relatively standard 1920x1080 monitor. I've done some reading on the 120Hz monitors and I've seen people with many issues (backlight bleeding, glossy, white lines etc.) this kinda puts me off the idea, yet I'd like some advice on what to do, help me!

From what I hear, 120hz monitors offer a noticably smoother gameplay experience compared to 60hz monitors but at around £300, I'm not I could justify paying that much for the extra smoothness or going 3D.

I was on a quest for a decent 24 inch monitor and ended up buying the BenQ G2420HDBL 24" 1080p Widescreen LED Monitor.

I think its a fantastic monitor for the price and it doesn't have any of the issues you described (backlight bleeding, glossy, white lines etc.).

50 people have left their feedbacks on link above and 99% of them gave the monitor 5/5 so they're obviously as happy as I am with the monitor lol.

The dell is great and available for around £180 on a deal running.
Having said that it is 8ms some people say they cant notice ghosting or trails etc some people will.

If you don't take online fps etc super serious I'd snap the dell deal up.
