If it wasn't for the blingyness of it, steel cases are great for quiet cases.

    That's not steel, that's tin foil: 0.6mm
And unless you need cart/forklift to move its weight around, sheet metal is't sturdy enough to resist vibrations.
    (hard HDD mounting)
Also if there are direct noise escape paths in front and/or side, then sounds of components will leak out anyway.
Would expect such bling bling fans to be themselves resonating material.

And for its hefty external dimensions max CPU cooler height is mediocre.
Of course also USBs are medieval USB2s.

Thermaltake Xaser III, now those things were crazily heavy while empty.

That's a blast from the past; just expecting some exhaust trails to shoot out from the front.

That's a long time ago! Had a couple of those back then 'in the day'.
I'm actually looking at building a new PC using an older retro case, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it... OcUK sold them in white and they were very popular for years then they did them in black. Probably midi height but very deep, the front fascia corners housed the feet which stuck out the front/sides type of thing. Not really a great description is it... but does anyone have an inkling which case I'm babbling on about? Probably never find one anyway!

If they could, they'd be RGB trails.
