Went and bought the missus The Sims 2 for her birthday as she was nattering on about it, now i can't get her off my telly! And with a 360 coming midweek i can't afford to let her loose on my nice very new 32" HDTV.

What are my options?

Women and Sims 2 = bad match.

I actually had a friend who's ex (they were seeing each other at the time) fell out with him because she made him on the game and he fell out with her so she took it out on him IRL.

Seriously..

My sister is hooked on this game aswell, I just don't get the attraction...

Women like some power once in a while. Normally they are only allowed to press the buttons on the oven. ;)

Tell her it runs brilliant on a 14" TV(Sims 2), you should be able to pick one of those up for less then £50, job jone :)

some couples watch tv in the evenings, we sit next to each other and play games while we chat.

you know what, that sounds very familiar, except I'm on the xbox while my wife is next to me, on ebay (selling not buying).

It seems to work really well for us.
