Hey guys, hopefully I can find some anwsers.

I used my External Lacie drive to transfer some files from an old computer to my new laptop. Unfortunately, XP on the old Desktop decided to run a Scandisk on the drive when I started the PC up, subsequently performing a whole bunch of suspicious looking operations that went blurring up the screen too fast for me to read or decipher.

It finishes it's voodoo, and I swap the Lacie back over to my laptop. Only to find that now the External drive is now apparentely unformatted and unexplorable.
When I click to open the drive, it simply says

"The Disk in drive F is not formatted, do you wish to format now?

That's a bit of an issue, since the drive has all my music, work and personal documents on it.

Is there any way I can get into this thing without formatting? Maybe a piece of software that will let me copy data from out of the drive so I at least dont lose everything.

Kind regards,
