I think you really could with two minutes work.

You have the V5 right? It has your name on it and the registration plate, make and model right? You don't even need the car to be in the picture to prove it.

A photo of yourself holding the V5, a piece of paper with your OCUK name and perhaps something like your driving license will do the trick. That way we know what you look like, that the car is in your name and it is a BMW coupe as you described.

The only way to fiddle that is if you know the real owner of it and can get them to do all that stuff for you. However I firmly believe that most people will get off your back if you did post a photo. I really would have thought it would indeed not be a waste of time but actually very productive for you. Not only would it improve your reputation around here but more importantly for the two minutes it takes the WSPA gets a tenner for your two minute effort.

That's my last post on this matter as I don't like to see anyone look bad but you're really not helping yourself.


Oh and Nickxx I still feel a complete pratt for posting that 5 series image instead of a 3 series saloon so thanks for reminding me. ;) My point still remains though. Some people will always prefer one body style over another even though it is financially illogical.

I'd simply love to give some money to charity, shame there isnt one that helps people with imaginary car syndrome, a terrible affliction I must say :(

Out of interest, gaz, and pls dont spoil this people who know the answer, but can you open the bonnet of your 330Ci for me and tell me what colour the battery is?

OT: TomO, I noticed you have black plates for your M5, have you ever been pulled over in Europe for them? Do you know if they're legal over there?

i have been pulled over 3 times here, but never abroad. they wouldnt know the exact UK laws on them anyway so you could get away with a lot i would imagine on the continent. :)

edit - to be fair i went past a cop car in belgium at over 100mph and they didnt seem that bothered, so plates?!?! ;)

my battery under the bonnet is pink!

did i pass? or was i talking complete **** :confused:
