...This may be a long shot but this has bugged me for ages and i cant solve it!
When i was a kid i had this film on tape, it was sorta like a Gumball Rally type film, But it was serious (Not Cannonball Run or anything like that). Loadsa cars racing each other across america IIRC. Now i only have slight memorise of it and a picture which brought it all back to me. It featured two of the cars in the pic below. 2 Red Pontiac GTO's Im pretty positive the car in the pic is from the film as i remember the blue and yellow stripe up the side. Im also sure that the drivers of the cars had matching jackets n caps??
1 of these drivers dies by being sniped down on a freeway by a man under another car, who eventually dies and causes a huge pile up. The other driver of the red Pontiac ends up crashing his car and then gets a green car (IIRC) and takes chase off the police and then jumps a gap between two freeways. And in the same film i think its a Yellow Lamborghini Mura blows up. Some crazy italian/spanish/german guy is driving it a bit to hard, red lines the car and blows himself up. I know some of the descriptions are slight, but they ar really all i can remember.
If anyone has ANY idea what im talking about i would appreicate your input.
