Old laptop, worth upgrade of CPU

I have a pentium m 740 1.7 dothan 533 you can have for £3 if any use to cover P&P tested working.

Is that even physically possible? Swap a P4M for Pentium M?

No. I was saying going from:

1.6ghz celeron P4 -> 1.7ghz P4 is not worth it.
1.6ghz celeron (pentium M) -> 1.7ghz pentium M might have some advantage.

Looks like its a 10 min job max. Easy access to the CPU on this laptop.
