Ok i admit it i am old , i guess i have given up on the need to have fun when driving, more to the point it does actually make sense for my needs.

I have 2 teenage girls with lots of friends and i always have to be dads taxi and most times it a 2 trip run so the 7 seats will be good.

I also have 2 large American Akitas and when not using the 2 back seats they can now fit in comfortably .

I did look at other mpv's but the Zafira is not my thing the Cmax is to small and the Galaxy is to expensive and i dont like the look of the Espace so here we are with the ,,,,,,,C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 Hdi EGS exclusive ,,,,,, i kid you not , what a mouth full :)

.I did do my reserch and the 1.6 hdi is the engine to go for over the older 2.0.Its full of goody's like the full lenth glass sun roof to go with the massive panoramic windscreen, ambient lighting infact 37 lighting sources inside. Also comes with cruise control, speed limiter hill start assist and flappy paddle/auto box that returns more mpg than a manual. I know it will be slow but thats not what its about, i am buying this for it practicality , i know it shortcoming and i can face the ridicule thats coming my way :D

Anyway its a 2008 with 29k on the clock and i pick it up Monday

Pic was from dealers webby, i will post some more when i get it.

thats not as bad then. :)

But still, 110bhp in a car that size is going to feel woefully underpowered. I would personally have gone for a more powerful 2.0 HDI, that feels less dangerous on the motorways.

I dare you to beat 1.2 Micra auto CVT for dangerousness on a motorway :p

Torque innit. :p

The car doesn't look too bad from the outside. If it'll do the job and you have a v6 I can't see the problem. :D

Yes but i would be looking at a 2006 with double the miles or an LX spec 2007, given that choice i would still have the Citroen, there not bad value for what they are.

Ah fair enough :)

Had one of these for a week when I was in holiday with 4 friends in spain - same engine with an auto box. It did the job fine, carried everyone with luggage without getting bogged down, was relatively comfy and I liked the quirky interior.

Why is it dangerous on motorways?
