At least it's got some flair, unlike an old Picasso or a Zafira... The ultimate in boring unimaginative motoring. And big french cars are comfy and usually come loaded with kit, so ideal family wagon!
People that don't have kids don't understand why MPVs are actually much better than estates/etc.
I'm actually gobsmacked that car companies literally write off MPVs as retired drivers' cars, castrating their ranges with tiny diesel/petrol engines. There are only a few instances (Zaf VXR/S-Max 2.5T) where dads get any chance of making the kids sick.
Personally, I absolutely loathe Citroens but cannot overstate their value second-hand. I would have taken the hit and bought a Zaf/S-Max, but that's just me.
On a side note, I have two kids, too, but my wife is absolutely clear that surgery is not going to happen. It's all about drawing the lines (pretty much the only one that's been drawn, tbf).
I love Citroëns, looks like a nice car although like others, I would have been inclined to go for the 2.0 - seven up I would expect it to be a bit unresponsive - e.g. on hills?
