The problem I've got with this Ricky Gervais Podcast is - why has Karl Pilkington suddenly become thick?
If you listen to the XFM broadcasts Karl is quite clever and Steve Merchant is the one who gets picked on.
It seems to me that they realised Karl was the genius and he could think up stupid things on the spot.
The 'sketch' that got me convinced he was a comedy genius was when he said something like "If you put a chameleon on a mirror what colour would it change into" as though he'd just thought of it.
I think it goes without saying that you wouldn't end up as a producer in a studio if you were as thick as pig poo.

Very funny though.

I see what you mean, I havnt heard the XFM broadcasts but at the beginning of the Ricky Gervais ones it was quite funny and varied, but at the end it became "ask karl a question and ridicule the way he responds to it". bit boring now.

We're onto the 3rd episode.

Ive got all of the 1st series, but only a couple of the second as i didnt find it as good.

Karl really is a simpleton, but is exaggerated in order to fill his comedy quota for each podcast. Still hilarious though.

Haven't listened to Series 3 yet though.

Although yes, you are supposed to buy them from audible or itchoonz
