I've got an old custom WC loop that I haven't used for a while and I'm thinking of a new system based on either the AM4 or S1151 or next platforms. It ran beautifully in my old overclocked S775 Core 2 Duo system.

The CPU block has a number of mounting holes and I wonder whether it'll be compatible with modern CPU sockets? Any ideas?

Cheers.

Well socket 775 had a 72mm hole spacing then 115x went to 75mm. I've successfully filed out bracket holes before to convert coolers from 775 to 115x.

AM4 is much less likely, I think you're unlikely to find an adapter kit from Swiftech. That's quite an old block now isn't it?

You'd have to make a new plate. It's probably still a good performing block.
