old wd hard drives which one to re-use

Hi I have a couple of wd 500gb hard drives in my server that I have unmounted and want to put one in a desktop for storing media , so I have an AAKS & AACS both bought at the same time and had very little use, so which one to use ?

Either of them, if they've both done the same 'work hours' there really isn't anything to choose between them.

You could keep both and have the same data on both as a back up just incase one goes to pot.

That's how I store my masses of audio files on a pair of ancient seagate drives.

I generally have one physically disconnected unless I add more music so I need to update the secondary drive.

Thanks I have files over multiple drives in the server but was looking for a storage drive on the pc to take files from the server edit them and then put back on the server. So instead of doing it one at a time I just thought it would be easier to move an empty drive and then copy the files
