Searched the forum and was surprised this hasn't been posted today.

The man created, Bagpuss, Ivor the Engine, Clangers and Noggin the Nog. He was a Childrens entertainment genius and had the most comforting and welcoming voice that was perfect for the role of a storey teller.

With his passing a massive part of my childhood has gone but what a legacy of work he leaves us.

Sad day indeed. Had a tear in my eye when I heard the news. Anyone remember Pogle's Wood?

I'm not old enough to have seen it firts time around but I have recently watched it on DVD, Postgate doing what he did best
