Tis very sad news I loved the Clangers and Ivor the Engine with that lovely welsh accent. By brother is called Ivor and we used to tease him all the time!

Bagpuss is a classic, and a very fondly remembered part of my wonderful childhood.

Thank you Mr Postgate for the countless hours of joy your programmes brought to myself, and may other children.
