I really don't think it was that far a step from fugazi personally. It was a stonking album though.
So ATDI are definitely worth looking into?
Fair enough.
I thought Relationship of Command was completely different to most of the stuff about at the time. I can't remember any bands about that sounded anything like them. Can you?
i love when ATDI went crazy on jools holland.
At The Drive-In were infinitely superior.
Not to say De-Loused was a bad album, Relationship of Command was just much better.
I agree with this, when ATDI split, there were two bands that came out of it, TMV and I just can't remember the other group now, anyone help?
Another lover of De-Loused here. Absolutely awesome album and I only came across it by chance. I found it to be instantly listenable, whereas the others do take some time to get it, but ultimately in most cases its well worth it.
I have found them to be a bit hit and miss since that album though.
I'm the same in probably missing what others are getting.
Not got any of his solo work. What ORL albums would one start with ?
Thanks![]()
I REALLY enjoyed A Manual Dexterity. He has a massive back catalouge so a lot to work through!
Lysander can you take a picture of your framed vinyl please?
I shall be listening to these soon, hopefully I'll enjoy them as much as I do TMVAs requested:
I have seven other framed vinyls on my wall too! These are
Watchtower - Energetic Disassembly
Fates Warning - Perfect Symmetry
W.A.S.P. - The Headless Children
Dream Theater - When Dream and Day Unite
Death - Human
Savatage - The Hall of the Mountain King
Coroner - Mental Vortex
All God-tier albums and the pinnacle of good music.
