OMG i give up ! 580

You are within your legal rights to DSR a product as long as you put in writing within 7 days of purchase that you would like to return it under DSR. Then you have up to 28 days to return the item.

Now of course if you were going to DSR it back to us just beacuse it didn't clock as high, well that is bad practise.

But tbh I wouldn't risk DSRing anything unless I was VERY unhappy and a GTX 580 which is "a bad clocker" wouldn't exactly ruin my Christmas but hey it's your call.

Especially as couriers are taking 5 years to deliver anything a simply swap may take longer than originally thought!
 
You seem to be trying for these overclocks on the stock fan speed, its my feeling that people are getting the higher clocks than 850 by manually having the fan speed set higher.

My 580 i run at 830 core with auto fan, i can run it faster if i have the fan on manual, but its noisy then for me, and theres no real difference in anything other than benchmarks at 830 and 900 core. I think you are searching for something you will never find and makes no difference anyway, its emporers new clothes.

I accidently disabled afterburner for 3 days and was running at default speed, I couldnt tell any difference in any game i was playing, so ive ended up just sticking mine back to stock unless im benchmarking now.
