omnia 7 vs HD7 on tmobile and O2, need some help please.

bit of a necro here but in the exact same boat (or very similar)

Am currently with O2 and like their customer service, loyalty discounts and priority tickets purchase for some events. Been on at them since wp7 came out to give me a good price on an 18 month contract for the hd7, which they finally have, just when I was about to give up and switch to t-mob for the omnia

O2 HD7

18 month contract
£30/month
500mb data
unlimited texts
300mins

T-Mobile via BMP.net

18 month contract
£30/month (- £25 cashback)
1gb data
600 mins
500 texts

My current phone (Nokia 6600 Fold is AMOLED screen and I like it a lot, however the HD7 has double the memory and I will likely be using the phone as my primary mp3 player for gym and travelling)

anyone wanna tell me which they'd recommend?

well i got the omnia in the end on 24 months with tmobile from BMP.net and have to say i absolutely love this phone.
The main things id say sets it apart from the other WP7 devices is the feel of it, it feels like a quality handset, now im not saying the other arnt of quality themselves but the omnia has a very sleek professional and solid feel and this being my first amoled screen i have to say its gorgeous.

for me the extra minutes, cashback and extra data would be enough to swing it, i was sick of o2 because of there crappy lines me and friends got on there network but these are more to do with location, i find the storage enough, ive got a couple of albums 4 episodes of my favourite tv show on there for the gym and still have 3.5gb left.

for me the phone on tmobile is better, the price plan on tmobile is better its just down to what you can fit on to the device thats gonna be the deal breaker.

The only issue I found so far my Omnia 7 on T-Mobile has been the T-Mobile signal, just doesn't seem to have the 3G coverage O2 do (at least in the areas I spend time in). I used to have full 3G coverage all round my town but now I'm lucky to get a full GSM signal.

The issue with the HD7 I found when playing with it wa sthe metal casing, it didn't seem to fit properly either around the screen or the plastic bits at the back.

Out of intrest amp, what's your location, I'm in the North East in newcastle, my signals pretty much full all of the time same with the 3g.
