One for the airplane nerds - A380 360-deg photos. Check it!

Cool:) Would anyone else rather be in business than first class though? I'd feel a bit odd in my little cubicle... Couldn't talk to anyone and it feels a bit claustrophobic, looks pretty minging too! Not that I could afford to fly in either though!

Big plane, but poor design the premium economy looks similar leg room to the flight I flew from San Fran to Maui on honeymoon 1st class 767!

However as a couple, if you didn't know what the plane was like (we upgraded at the gate), it could be a lonely flight with that much distance between seats in 1st, you'd never hear who was next to you

Economy still looks cramped, and tbh i think business looks better than 1st,

1st reeks of single business traveller/ celeb snob, imagine upgrading to 1st and being told you were next to each other only to find you were about 8 feet away, but hey nice faux wood finish, a hair drier in your ear and a cup holder!!

Flying to Tokyo in April on an A380 (economy), only £650 return, so not really any more expensive than any other plane you might end up with. If only it was business class...

EDIT: Out of interest, checked the different classes on the same flight, business: £2500, first: £4700

Wow First and Business look really rubbish.

I'd pick an airline like Etihad over Qantas if I were going that way and paying J or F prices.

******* hell! Even their economy is amazing, and lol at their first class cabins! Very nice. Can get flights from London to Sydney for £5k in first class which isn't as bad as I'd thought it'd be.

Thats amazing. I flew on Singapore Airlines A380's and sat in the upstairs economy. Its pretty much identical to the "Premium economy" shown on the 360, just as an FYI to anyone flying soon.

Quantas colour scheme is terrible, it makes their seating all look uncomfortable, without actually sitting in it.
Their economy class is laid out 343 just like Singapore airlines, but the singapore airlines cabins are very comfortable (for economy) and looks much more pleasing on the eye.

Reds and black, not at all relaxing.

I'll bet 90% of the flying on that beast is done by automatic anyway, so many of the landings etc now are autoland, even on lower class planes.
The actual flight control joystick looks like an afterthough, sitting over to one side, away from the pilot, not to get in his way.
I am sure it is purely the 360 cam picture, but it looks like you would actually have to lean forward out of your seat to grab the stick, unless that console moves position.
