One Tree Hill - Season 1: Is there widescreen version?

As title really...

I can only seem to find One Tree Hill Season 1 in AR:1.33:1....I was wondering if there was every a widescreen version released on DVD?

Nope, only ever 4:3 IIRC. Season 2 onwards is 16:9.

Ah right - I can remember watching them on my widescreen tv and it was full screen.....i guess it was just stretched.....like with programmes like scrubs etc?

Most likely it would have been stretched, I don't think I've ever watched anything on tv that had bars down the sides. Just checked my dvds and only season 1 isn't widescreen, but I didn't notice when watching it on a widescreen tv.

Nope, only 4:3. The others are widescreen on DVD. It's annoying.
Same with a lot of my DVD's, like Buffy.
