Just wondering how many of you have online betting accounts? I like to bet on horses and football mostly, but I don't want to get junk mail and stuff sent to me, do you have any preference or are they all just pretty much the same?

They shouldn't be sending spam anyway. I used jaxx briefly but then realised that the odds were terrible.

Try and find one with some offers, e.g. signup and get £20 or something.

Betfair or Betdaq is the way forward.

If you NEED an online bookie, then Bet365 is quite good until you start winning too much.

As I've been matched betting to harvest all the introductory offers and I have about a dozen bookie accounts, as well as with the exchanges. Plenty more to do too. Most people who do that use a different email for the bookies but you don't get third party spam anyway. The 'spam' you get from the bookies is often welcome as they fairly often offer free bets and other deals.

If you just want to have the odd flutter then Betfair/Betdaq is probaly the best way to go. Get a referal and use a cashback site though. Might as well have the free money.:)

If you bet on football then learn and understand Asian handicap's and punt with one of the Asian books like 12bet/sbo/ibc much better value than befair once you factor in commission

These are the companies that set the market that betfair then other books follow
