Hi all,

I've been off the online Poker scene for a number of years now and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what clients are particularly good these days? I used to use Pacific Poker and occasionally PartyPoker but figure maybe there's something new and better out there by now. Must have options for real and fake money play, though I'm not bothered about anything but hold'em.

Cheers all.

Full Tilt have by far the best software and a huge player pool, 27% rakeback too if you're interested in that.

Pokerstars have the biggest player pool, the best customer support and decent software as well. No rakeback but they do offer a VIP deal.

Those 2 are the biggest and you can't go wrong with either of them.

Pacific had an update recently didn't it?

PKR is pretty good graphics wise. Full Tilt and Pokerstars for functionality. But if you're serious about wanting to make money, Pacific is the clear choice because the players are just insanely bad. Cake poker is pretty good too as a middle ground (pretty good software and bad players), and trying a new site is always good because you can get a new player bonus.

true words

i didn't think I could ever play anywhere but Full Tilt because all other software was just so crappy in comparison, but since my friend convinced me to move to pacific it's been great.. the standard of play is just so awful

there's really no reason to play with the american crowd if you don't absolutely have to. they are generally a lot better than europeans, because the ones that do play have to circumvent the online gambling restrictions, and so often have a bit more know-how.

pacific is euro only, so kerching :D

Im just trying out skypoker after seeing the advert on TV.

Easy money, put in a fiver and up to £70 from just microstakes.
