Only fools and horses

If you like OFAH you may also like:
Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister

Open All Hours

These are available on DVD and well worth the money IMO.

I think it's probably one of the greatest TV shows of all time, if not the best. Fantastic. :)

this ^^

grew up watching this program and still watch it today.

robbo is right what he said,no one can match the comedy or characters in only fools and horses.

The show worked because you genuinely cared about the characters, you were really routing for them.

The chandelier scene has got to be one of the biggest lols of all time, along with del boy as batman, he looked like a giant poo :D

I think it was brilliant, and I only recently realized how well written it is. The closest we have come to a perfect sitcom.

Oh and best episode is "The Longest Night"

LEGENDARY series! I grew up with it and it came from an era when british comedy was just spot on in every way. Look at the stuff that came out in the 70/80's, now look at what we have....they should bottle whatever the writers were drinking back then :D

they should have made more, instead of the rubbish "rock n chips" and "green green grass"

they could have hooked in a good few more series instead of those poor wannabees

Although this would have been nice, in the years those shows were made John Sullivan wasn't very well before his death almost a year ago (23rd April) even though he did have a part in those particular series, I doubt he was up to his full glory.

Having someone else write the show is just sacreligious.

It was a great show up until they had to shoehorn Cassandra and Raquel and various sprogs into the program. It became far too sentimental and too much "drama" from that point onwards.

I am 27 and been watching OFAH as long as i can remember properly my fave show of all time. The only modern day sitcoms i really like are peep show big bang theory and I.T crowd but none of them had the awesome writing and charters OFAH had.

OFAH also had some awesome actors and genuine emotional bits which for a sitcom is rare.

100% agreed. I have some of the best episodes on my iPad for when I go away on company business. Some of the jokes/one liners you just couldn't get away with today and the characters are all superbly portrayed.

It is truly the greatest sitcom of all time. I try and watch it all the time it's on.

The last episode was really quite emotional when they finally became millionaires. :)

OP, if you like Boycie, then make sure you watch The Green Green Grass. It's about him, Marlene and their son moving away from Peckham to a farm in the countryside. Pretty damn funny.
