Pretty much bone stock 440ci RB motor (internally anyway, been dressed up a little bit on the outside), 8 3/4 Posi diff', 727 auto 'box. Not quite so much of a tyre-shredding monster as the cars I usually find when I go loafing around the Bay and Collector Car Trader, but rather nice looking all the same!

About an inch lower in the front to get the stance right, some engine fettling (including cold air induction as on the Scotlea General No 14), and I reckon that'd make it perfect. Current bidding is at $26,700 - I make that ~£13,600? No reserve, so unless bidding goes absolutely crazy over the couple of days that are left I reckon someone is going to get a bargain.

that car looks familiar for some reason

:D

Forgot something else about it - extra special bonus....the headlight doors actually work properly!

Half the Chargers I've seen, the headlight doors are lazy. They operate off engine vacuum, and aren't bullet-proof on the reliability front. Apparently, this car's headlight doors work fine. No vacuum leaks, doors open smoothly and in sync with each other.

On the TV show, you can see in a few episodes that one or two Generals didn't have perfectly working headlight doors. "High Octane" in the first season shows one car like that - when the boys are pulling up to the office to check in as per their probation, one door is open and the other is closed :)

Hmm, it looks like those doors actually open.. :(

Whisper it quietly, but....

....they never bothered welding them shut on the TV show! :D
