*****Oooooops I did it again - Sandybridge CPU's LIVE & IN STOCK!*****

haven;t been following it for a while, what's all the hype about sandybridge.
our the gfx good enough to make graphic cards redundant? or just usual hype over new cpus.

Damn i honestly expected 1366 to last a sight longer, that's a bit disappointing.

Does the integrated graphics work in addition to your current gfx card?

I think this might be the replacement for my IP35 Pro system so I guess I need to do a bit of learning.

Any good links to get up to speed?

Buy a 2500K

Increase multiplier

Enjoy 4.5GHz+

That's about as up to speed as you need to be :p

Whats the difference between the 2500 and the 2500K, practically speaking?

The Ks have an unlocked multiplier, so you can Overclock it. Also the Ks have a better built in GPU.

Though to Overclock you need a P67 motherboard... and they can't use the built in GPU. Only the H67 motherboards can use the built in GPU (and they can't overclock!)

What is the point of a CPU with graphics rather than having a dedicated card?
HTPCs.

Is it true that you only have to buy motherboards on features now?

So if I say I wanted SLI, would the cheapest SLI capable board be upto the same job at overclocking as the uberly expensive Maximus IV for example?
