Hi guys,
We've had a break in at work today, and I've viewed the CCTV footage, and we have a video of the van going in, and out of our compound. Ive backed up the footage onto a USB stick, in total there are 2 files, I presume these are 2xhalf hour footages. They are both over 200mb and are .264 files. I presume i now have to convert these files into an .avi or .mpg so the police can take a look at them. Which program should I use? I am using a Mac but do have access to a windows pc also.
Thanks
FP

Have you tried just changing the file extension?

If the video codec itself that the files have been created with is H.264, a Mac should be able to play them back natively.

A quick google suggests that there are people who've had similar issues with security cameras and Chinese PVRs.

Yeah, just try to put it into a contanier file, and save as avi or MP4 file.
if this still don't work, maybe you could get aneesoft free video converter to have a try.
