My bb Is new, latest fw etc.
Is this a known problem? Or is there a fix?

Make sure that you dont have any 3rd party apps running in the background...hold the BB button down to bring up a list of running apps...there will always be 5 that run ie homescreen, internet, BBM, messages and phone. Anything other than those 5, close down properly.

I tried it a while ago on my 9700 but didnt like it, it worked perfectly fine on my 9700...but i preferred the stock browser:eek::p. The stock browser albeit not great does the job for me if i need to browse the web quickly.

Now that i have the HTC Desire i use that more often to browse the web rather than the 9700.

By going into the apps and pressing the BB button and scrolling to exit/close if it has the option...most apps will close automatically when you press the red hangup button but the proper way to close them down is by clicking the bb button then clicking on close/exit.

The stock browser is fine. It just lacks tabs!
