Finally looking into changing a few things on the Supra. This is what it looks like currently (no external changes since I bought it):

I am thinking of getting rid of the decals altogether and was also toying with the idea of a polished lip on the alloys.

Excuse the pretty shoddy editing attempts :D:o If anyone else wants to give it a better go, feel free lol.

Opinions?

Much better, I'd lose the massive scoop in the bonnet too. The smaller one is OK.

Everything else is awesome, what is the spec?

I keep looking at them and thinking that the ones without decals look a lot 'cleaner' so I think I'm agreeing with the majority on that one.

Here's a different white one with a polished lip (albeit 18s), I quite like it but I'm not sure.

Get rid of the decals for sure. I remember when you posted this after you bought it, really nice looking Supra, part of me still craves one.
I think the polished lip on the alloys would be a nice touch, but the decals definitely have to go.

Its in the thread here :)

Only thing I've changed since then is the entire audio system for some decent gear.

Nope, it makes the car look like a scalextrics car....don't do the wheel polishing!

How's that scalextric? lol :p

Do you mean the ridges? I'm on the lookout for a UK-Spec bonnet but they are pretty rare and I'm not looking urgently as I quite like the bonnet tbh :o lol

:D

Not the best example I can find, but imo they just doesn't look right polished. Looks a bit too aftermarket and draws too much attention from my eyes than to that of the body/shape of the car.

HAHA! :p :D

What has been seen cannot be unseen...hmmm

I reckon some white rim tape will look good :)

Rim tape - didn't think of that....that'd just let me see what it looks like IRL won't it? Or is it used as a permenant thing? (Never really looked into that before)

Thank you very much. Bay looks excellent too, thoroughly cherished car by the looks of things. Very nice.

Yes definately, kudos to the previous owner - I hope I keep the tradition going!

Just off topic Six....and forgive me for not reading all of your car thread

Have you had your Supra tuned at all? My mate runs possibly the best Supra tuning service in the country and has recently built the lightest road legal supra in the world (so I believe.... at 1236kg) and was recently on the front of Banzai for it. He really knows his stuff, have you ever considered ....more power from a remap? :D

You might have guessed, I have a soft spot for supras. My cousin has owned 6 now (TT, Single turbo, T-Bar etc :)) and my buddy Ryan's is an inspiration!

Rim Tape is not permanent and can be taken off if you wish.

Its cheap too :)

Supras actually look so much better when modded like this i think. A standard supra just looks dated IMO

Its currently running 'BPU' level performance at what I think is a conservative level of power for a UK Spec car. With the mods its got so I'd say there's more room to breath (being a UK spec) before I'd need to start changing things in a big way - such as fuelling system, single turbo conversions etc.

Is your mate a member on the owners club?

EDIT: just seen your edit lol :P

Yeah I have seen and heard lots good things about Ryan ;) He certainly knows his stuff!
