Orange - better deal?

I rang Orange about a month and a half agabout leaving them, they said they would upgrade me at the start of my 9th month (today). Between then and now I've rang them a few times asking what deals I would get etc..

I remember being told that I would get £100 credited to my account.

Now when the woman rang this morning (just like she said she would, surprisingly) she gave me 500 mins and 500 texts for £25 and a free k800i. Which is a pretty good deal really.

Would I have gotten more if I had of said I was considering leaving because some other phone shop was going to give this, that and the other? Is it worth ringing back?

People these days want everything for nothing - just read some of the threads in this forum.
For some reason people think all handsets cost pennies and that networks want to keep people whom they make no profit on....
