This is something I've never done so be patient with me :)

Basically, I'm on a Dolphin 35 contract, had it a few years now. So I get 600 mins xnet, unlimited texts, free broadband at home, about 10 magic numbers haha.. and I pay 25 a month now as I get a 5 quid loyalty discount.

I called just as my contracts up, I want an N86, they were adament they would not discount the handset so I asked to be put through to disconnections as I can go online and start a new contract with cashback and the handset for free with ease. Obviously I'd need to do something with my broadband though.

But, for minimal hassle, I don't mind the price I pay currently for what I get - I just want the handset for free.

Is it possible or even likely that I can approach a third party company regarding an upgrade and they will sort it, keep my contract and price as is but get the phone for free?

If so, any recommended retailers I can go to for this?

Thanks all :)

Your broadband could be the killer here unless you have an unbundled Sky exchange near you and have Sky TV you'll qualify for free BB from them.

Beyond that point its fairly easy to a decent deal from somewhere like Dial a Phone and a fair wack cheaper than £35, discounting the BB of course..!!

Aye it's the BB which is a clincher. To be honest Orange signal coverage is RUBBISH nowadays but I aint gonna get a contract as cheap as that with broadband without messing about with cashback offers and it still won't work out as cheap probably.

Wondering if it's worth talking to them and paying up to 30 on the handset as I think my deal is pretty good contract wise.. do people agree? :)

PS: I aint got Sky TV :(
