Just bought this phone after looking around for an all in one mp3 / phone soloution and have a couple comments / questions.

I'm a bit disapointed with the wasy the earphones connect to the phone the connector isn't like a standard earphone jack but slots into the side with a bulky box. I thought I could get round this by buying bluetooth earphones but I find that to use the radio, the shipped Earphones have to be plugged into the phone! so I would still have to have them connected.....really stupid.

I love everything else about the phone, but for a walkman phone this is really disapointing. Are all of the other walkman phones the same?

I was told there was a service included in the phone called TrackID that identify's music tracks but from short clips but i can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know how to access the service?

Pretty much every phone with an FM radio has to have the headphones plugged in to use it as the headphones are also the radio aerial. Nokias with radio functionality are the same.

Sadly, Sony Ericsson persistently make use of the Fast Port connector as oppposed to using industry standard connections. You have to have the headphones plugged in for the radio because the wire acts as the aerial.

Anyone know why TrackID is missing, the feature is a selling point on the Ornage website against this phone.

EDIT - Turns out Orange disabled this feature along witha few others. Last night I used some software to unbrand my phone and everything is fine now.
