I got the dispatch email at around 2PM yesterday, so yeah I ordered before 2PM though it's still only showing as "Awaiting receipt of parcel" so either they are being very slow to update the tracking page, they are picking it up from yourself today or it won't be with me Monday.

Thats nothing there is a computer company in manchester that offer same day delivery throughout greater manchester.

For me the best options would be next day between 6pm and 9pm.
Seems odd that they try to deliver when 99% of people would likely be out.

DPD do seem good though, only company i have problems with is parcel force and royal mail, and uk mail.
 
I have to agree. Although evening delivery costs more it tends to be the time most people are actually in. Then again there's n online pc place that does monday delivery up to 6pm on sundays, but it's reflected in the price and I know how valuable a sunday off work is :)

Also you might want to update your dispatch emails. The line:
Please note: Orders shipped after 4:30pm on a Friday may not be due for delivery until the following Tuesday as they are not collected by our courier over the weekend.

Placed my order at 1:59pm on Saturday by OCUK's time standard (phew) and received packing/postage confirmation an hour or two later, but when i went to check the tracking today it doesn't seem to exist. Entered the code as supplied in the e-mail but no such log. The outstanding order has also vanished from the account page so at the moment i don't have any way of knowing where it is or what's happening with the £300 package. I should get it today but was a bit odd to be supplied with a tracking number and have it lead to a non-existent file.

Sure things will fine, just something i thought worth mentioning. :)

Think I've related this before but my all time high for amazing delivery came when I was in the US. Had been debating buying a laptop for a bit then saw an excellent online offer (these were the days where $699 for a laptop was an amazing deal) ... decided to take the plunge and placed online order at 8:55pm West Coast time which was 11:55pm on East Coast where the company was based - they claimed next day delivery for orders placed before midnight but as this was a Friday I assumed monday delivery at best and realistically thought tuesday was more likely. Next day (Saturday) went out to do shopping in morning and arrived to our rented house at ~12:30 to find a label on door saying package had been delivered with neighbours at ~11am.

When I looked into how it got to me so quickly found that company were based on East Coast but dispatched from a warehouse colocated with Fedex or UPS in Indiana ... so order went direct to Indiana where it was picked from warehouse and put straight on plane to (I think) Oakland where it was straight from plane to delivery van for my area (Cupertino).
 
I'm looking to order today for delivery monday. It says that it will be delivered by DX secure but I cannot select monday as a prefered date. Will this still come monday or tuesday..?
