Ok, so hoping this might have happened to someone else. As I would like to have some idea of what will happen next!

1 I moved into my place Friday 13th
2 Saturday 14th thought I best order broadband and phone. Went to BT site entered my post code etc Infinity 2 77 - 80Mbit est speed, GREAT!
3 This morning checked the BT Wholesale ADSL checker which says Fibre is not in my area. Checked BT site, fibre not available 1 - 2mbit est speed.

I have checked my order on the BT site, and it says in progress, dates are all confirmed.

Anyone else had this? How likely am I to get infinity?? Install is due 30th June.

Just checked, it says

FTTC is currently not available on this cabinet due to following reasons:- Sorry your cabinet is temporarily unavailable, capacity will be restored as soon as possible.

Hi, I had the exact same problem. Everyone in my flats could get infinity however I couldn't, so I posted on bt forum and they got the tracker amended temporarily so that I could place my order. 1 month on I now have infinity 2 however if I enter my phone number in the tracker it says infinity is unavailable .

I wouldn't worry their tracker isn't the most accurate, if you have any concerns your best to post on their forum and a mod will help. Bt over the telephone are useless.

You were probably able to get an order in before capacity ran out.

I have a guy on the BT forum saying I am likely to get a text or a call soon cancelling the order :-( Wont be happy if that is the case. I ordered new land line, infinity and bt tv.

So the wholesale checker changed date.

FTTC Range A (Clean) 80 77 20 19.9 -- 16-Jul-14

So guess I'll be offered ADSL. Or maybe I was lucky and there is space in the cab for me. . . Will find out soon I guess

If I were you I wouldn't go and ring BT Customer Services because they will likely only look at what you've looked at, and may cancel the order despite you maybe having the last port. I'd say you have grabbed the last port otherwise the system wouldn't let you order :). Bearing in mind your cabinet is full and you've been quoted those speeds you must be close to it because crosstalk will be at maximum with a full cab!
