Here is what my desk looks like at the moment......

Notice the distinct lack of a 24'' iMac there!

apple decided my credit card wasn't good enough and canceled my order 3 days after saying it had been accepted. (it's empty and the credit limit is double the cost of the iMac)

However my 4gb of upgrade memory has arrived today sadly there's nothing to put it in

(for anyone that's bothered i'm just reinstalling a friends pc.)

it's not so bad. Just found out there's a store just opened in town that sells nothing but apple so I'll just go and order one from there.

that's actualy my dining room table. I'm in the process of gutting the upstairs of my house. Then it will have a nice desk and room all to it self.

it turns out the muppets charged me for two at the same time which I couldn't afford then tried again and generaly messed the order up. I'm going into the store in town tomorrow and ordering one paying with chip and pin. Surely they can't mess that up!

yes it's a lint roller, i wear black trousers to work and my cats have white bits that find there way everywhere!

and it's a 24''

thanks for the comments. No wireless keyboard until it has a numpad and I can't find a wireless Bluetooth mouse I like as I'm not keen on the mighty mouse.

I was going to bootcamp xp but now the missus has had a few lessons from me ( bit like the blind leading the blind tbh) she's happy with leopard.

Only thing I miss is utorrent as transmission is so unbalevably slow!

Oh and wireless Internet keeps dropping. Probably as the iMac is ontop of the router so I'm wired for now.

OK change of plan, I'm not so against to the mighty mouse now I've worked out how to make it work like a 2 button mouse!

loving the scroll ball thingy too

sorry for hijacking your thread ca9phoenix but am just wondering with your new imac if you plan on using bootcamp and putting xp/vista on at all, the reason i ask is that i am hopefully getting my imac soon but not sure if i can install the xp/vista on an external hard drive to keep the hd in the imac dedicated for the osx  if that makes sense

to be honest i don't have any plans to bootcamp my system, i'm happy with osx and don't see the need to go back to the devil spawn that is microsoft for my day to day usage!

i'm sure there are others that can help you on here, with a PC i suppose i'm an advanced user..... however with a mac i'm a bit of a noob!
