Ordering Zen Active 8000, Is this modem okay?

It depends on what firmware version it has, later ones are locked to BT Broadband only...

Also, have you thought about getting something with a half decent chipset in? Seeing as you need all the help you can get to actually get sync? The Voyager 220V will probably have a Globespan chipset in which isn't particularly great on long lines.

Well, how much do you want to spend, and do you want Wireless, or any special features? (i.e. multi-NAT, multicast etc.)

nothing special, just a good adsl max modem :)
I already have a wireless router which i can plug an ethernet modem into. Any ideas ?
Thanks

I ordered at 3:30pm.
Credit card payment of £71.99 initial fee has been accepted, how long should it be until i am activated?
Btw, i have ISDN on the line at the moment. When i order do Zen automatically request an ISDN conversion from BT ?
Thanks
