Organising a party

Hi my names Simon and ive never organised a party.
Im leaving my job soon in about 1 to 2 months, and i thought id have a farewell doo

p is that spelt right) down a pub in the skittle alley. The only thing is i aint got a clue where to start, so if someone could make a list for me on things i should do/need that would be great.

Its still really early stages yet, so im not sure how many ppl would come at a guess 40-70 people.

:confused by thread. how can you not know how to organise a party at a pub.

cheers thats great, thats all i need to know, im thinking of having a DJ would that be a good idea.

No we wont be playing skittles, the party will be in the skittle alley.

were just commoners nothing fancy like that its just a nice works party saying farewell to me, and getting bladdered
